Galanthophile Margaret Owen selected this bluish foliage Trym seedling form her garden “The Patch”, Acton Pigot, Shropshire, UK. It has a strictly upright stature and is more vigorous than its parent. The flower form is considered an inverse-poculiform or pterugiform, where the inner segments are doubled and are usually the same length with similar markings. This makes for an exciting flower when viewed from a distance, adding punctuation to the usually white snowdrop.
