A tall and vigorous plicatus cultivar from Colesbourne Manor blooming early in the main snowdrop season. Found by Carolyn Elwes as a seeding on the ‘Byzantinus Bank’ there in 1982. It can produce two scapes per bulb and it has equally good foliage which becomes long and arching. It is often in bloom for Christmas at Colesbourne but is usually in bloom late January in my garden.
