A fairly vigorous cultivar for a virescent snowdrop, it is well-named as giving the appearance of a flower washed with green rather than a solid color. The flower spikes are of medium size held vertically against the mostly horizontal foliage. This stature is recognizable from a distance. It performs well in a woodland setting as well as in the open garden. Found in Mauerbach - a village west of Vienna in 1963 by Fritz Kummert.
